AS PART OF MY FINAL MAJOR PROJECT FOR UNIVERSITY, I CREATED A BOOK AND CAMPAIGN ALL ABOUT BANANAS, THEMED ON BANANAS.
My idea for Banana Split was to create a campaign and book focused on bananas. The project covers information on the evolution, different varieties, economic importance and pop culture influences of the Cavendish banana. The Cavendish is the most popular and widely recognised banana variety, which I found out myself during research. The main reason I wanted to focus my project entirely on bananas was I came across an article during research that explained how bananas are at risk of extinction due to them being genetically identical.
